12 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells work best)

1 lb ground beef

6 slices bacon, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups heavy cream

¾ cup beef broth

1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional but adds burger-like tang)

Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
Step 2: Brown the Bacon & Beef
